Shvil
The Israel National Trail (ישראל שביל) connects Kibbutz Dan, at the foot of Mount Hermon, with Eilat, on the Red Sea.
Shvil is my journal of completing the 1,100 km trail in Spring 2019, It follows a poetic structure, with a stanza aimed at capturing the essence of each day.
A third of the way into the walk, Linda injured her foot. With her support, I completed most of the remaining distance on my own.
I emphatically recommend this hike. It’s amazing. Beyond all the history, Israel boasts a diverse and beautiful landscape. Every day offers something unique to absorb and ponder.
