Uganda Lodge to Lake Bonyonyi, 95 km
Lots of climbing today. Some long ascents higher into the mountains of Southern Uganda. More terraced plots strung along the sides of mountains.
A good stretch of rain for the last half of the ride, followed by a long, muddy and steep climb up to Lake Bonyonyi.
Challenging, but the fun sort of challenge.
Our campsite is charmed. Flat ground and a clear view of the lake.
The near-constant rain is the only drawback.
