Nairobi, rest day
Tired of sleeping on the ground and moving around, we settle upon a city hotel.
The Norfolk is a small refuge in the heart of Nairobi. The hotel’s main feature is the leafy courtyard at its centre, full of birds and well maintained grass.
Hidden in a far corner of the grounds is the pool. Nothing fancy, but a quiet and cool space to lay back and unwind.
We are here for three days, thanks to the generosity of the Affolders and some about-to-expire Fairmont President’s Club upgrade certificates.
