Day 58, 64 words

Mwanza to Serengeti National Park, 142 km

We charge hard to escape the (literal) stench of poverty that hangs over Mwanza’s suburbs.

Our bodies surprise us on this sixth consecutive riding day. We make excellent time as the hills recede and we descend onto the Serengeti plain.

Here, on the edge of the Serengeti National Park, there is water, sun, time and a gorgeous backdrop to tackle a laundry backlog.
